Dining passengers will be served a Full English Breakfast on the outward journey and a two course meal on the return journey. Pullman Style passengers will also be served canapes and wine with their meal. Premium Standard passengers will be served complimentary tea and coffee and can order additional drinks and snacks from the on board menu.
Today's journey begins at London Paddington station. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and architect Matthew Digby Wyatt, the arched roof is 55 feet above the platforms at its highest point. We head along along the Thames Valley to Reading, before turning south through Hampshire. We pass through the historic city of Winchester before following the River Itchen to Eastleigh and heading through Hampshire towards Fareham and Portsmouth.
This trip is scheduled to be hauled by two steam locomotives with one at each end of the train in a "top & tailed" formation. The locomotives are likely to be 61306 Mayflower & a Black Five.
Rostered locomotives will be updated on the Steam Dreams website as they are confirmed throughout the year.
